Job Summary

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in managing the financial functions of PSC Biotech, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. This position will be responsible for overseeing the accounting functions in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Business to Business Collections, and general office support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Manage the accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to drive business decisions, including project progress and financial performance.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee the execution of monthly and annual closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Intercompany Invoicing: Ensure accurate and timely intercompany invoicing and charging.
  • Commission Calculations: Calculate and ensure timely payment of commissions in accordance with business incentive plans.
  • Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc reporting and support to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a senior accounting role.
  • Skills: Expert knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections, as well as GAAP and journal entries.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and XERO.
  • Travel: Ability and willingness to travel preferred.
