Administration Officer - Emergency Response

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated individual to assume the role of Administration Officer within the Emergency Department.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support, encompassing word processing, diary management, and coordination of appointments and meetings.
  • Manage telephone enquiries and messages efficiently and effectively.
  • Coordinate Emergency Department meetings, disseminate agendas, papers, minutes of meetings, and track follow-up action items.
  • Process payroll checks and maintain medical rosters securely.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to promote effective outcomes in recruitment and administration processes.
  • Develop, implement, and deliver training programs to address the training needs of the Supplementary Workforce.

**Essential Skills & Qualifications:**

  • A minimum three years experience in a similar administration role or completion of a Certificate III or IV in Business Administration.
  • Experience working in a complex environment where sensitive information is treated confidentially.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and work effectively within a team environment.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain office systems and procedures.
  • Experience in coordinating concurrent tasks, meeting deadlines, taking initiative, and working effectively with staff.
