Administration Support Role

We are seeking an experienced and organized individual to join our emergency department as a casual Administration Assistant.

  • Provide high-level administration support to the ED team, ensuring seamless communication and efficient workflow.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong computer literacy and experience working with Health Funds and Patient Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the reception area, dealing with patients and other stakeholders in a sensitive and welcoming manner.
  • Handle telephone calls from patients in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process patient registration forms and enter data into IBA for all admissions.
  • Liaise with medical practices to ensure accuracy of admission details.

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy.
  • Experience working with Health Funds and Patient Management Systems.
