Risk Management Specialist

This position plays a pivotal role in shaping and implementing risk management strategies across the organization.
The organization serves a significant population, with a strong focus on delivering a sustainable future for the region through effective risk control and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and oversee the implementation of the Risk Management framework.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments across various operational areas to identify potential hazards.
- Establish a uniform approach to Risk Management practices across the organization.
- Manage the review and maintenance of Emergency Management Plans, and coordinate emergency responses in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice.
- Hold qualifications in Risk Management, Emergency Management, or related fields, or possess equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Proven ability to conduct thorough risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with safety management systems and related technology.
- Prior experience in local government, spanning multiple business activities.
