Job Overview

Dubbo Regional Council seeks a highly skilled Risk and Emergency Coordinator to shape risk management practices, support local emergency management, and contribute to community safety. The successful candidate will oversee the council's risk management framework, conduct comprehensive risk assessments, and create a uniform approach to risk management practices.

The ideal candidate will have qualifications in risk management, emergency management or a related discipline, and demonstrated training, knowledge and experience in emergency and/or risk management. They will also have proven experience undertaking thorough risk assessment processes and conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee Council's Risk Management framework.
  • Conduct and support comprehensive risk assessments across operational areas.
  • Create a uniform approach to Risk Management practices across Council.
What You'll Bring
  • Qualifications in Risk Management, Emergency Management or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated training, knowledge and experience in Emergency and/or Risk Management.
