Job DescriptionThis exciting opportunity will see you play a key role in shaping our organisation's risk management practices. As a Risk and Emergency Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting local emergency management and contributing to strengthening the community through effective risk control and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework that ensures consistency and effectiveness across the organisation.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments across operational areas to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Manage the review and maintenance of emergency management plans, coordinate emergency response efforts, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.
Requirements:
- Qualifications in risk management, emergency management, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated training, knowledge, and experience in emergency and/or risk management.
- Proven experience undertaking thorough risk assessment processes to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Experience conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
- Knowledge and experience with safety management systems and related technology.
