Job Opportunity: Risk Management Professional
This key position will shape the risk management practices at Dubbo Regional Council, ensuring effective management of potential hazards and compliance across diverse portfolios. The successful candidate will work across all areas of the organisation to maintain and enhance the risk and control environment.
The role includes overseeing Council's Risk Management framework, conducting comprehensive risk assessments, creating a uniform approach for Risk Management practices, and managing Emergency Management Plans. To thrive in this role, you should have qualifications in Risk Management or equivalent experience in Risk management.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing risk management strategies
- Conducting thorough risk assessments and audits
- Building a culture of risk awareness and responsibility
- Managing emergency response plans and coordination
