Role Overview

We're seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our Darwin Steel Centre branch. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing customer service/sales experience or start a new career chapter.


Job Description

This is a customer-focused position that requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person interactions;
  • Processing cash sales, quotes, and orders with precision;
  • Making proactive outbound calls to customers and prospects;
  • Preparing reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement;
  • Maximising sales opportunities by identifying and capitalising on potential revenue streams;
  • Completing general administrative duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Experience in customer service and/or sales administration;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with customers and colleagues;
  • Mastery of Microsoft Office and SAP system functionality (highly regarded);
  • Knowledge of estimating and drafting principles in a similar industry (highly regarded).

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
