At Hastings Deering, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Service Coordinator to join our team in Darwin.

This is a permanent, Monday-to-Friday role working 38 hours per week.

The successful candidate will act as a liaison between the Service Team, our customers, and product/mining support representatives by engaging in effective communication on the scope of work, job pricing, and timeframes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating invoice clarity and prompt payment by ensuring segments have accurate and complete parts, labour, miscellaneous charges, and work descriptions before closing.
  • Maintaining records within the Asset Tracker system to ensure all movements of customers and HDAL assets are accurately recorded.
  • Capturing and communicating customer requirements to the Service team through monitoring, following up, and maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Implementing action plans developed by Service Management to achieve monthly financial performance and revenue targets.

We offer a competitive remuneration package with an estimated salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, plus a 24.5% area allowance.

To be successful in this role, you will need relevant trade qualifications, proven experience working in a Frontline service department, sound computing skills, in-depth knowledge of Caterpillar machinery, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
