About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Indigenous Customer Assistance Line (ICAL) team as an Indigenous Banking and Community Liaison Expert. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships with Indigenous customers and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS
- You will be on the phone to customers, delivering outstanding customer service, answering questions about their banking, promoting self-service options, and identifying issues and service gaps.
- COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
- You will work closely with stakeholders, including Community and Government Services, to support the bigger picture of assisting Indigenous customers with their everyday banking needs.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS
- A strong ability to build rapport quickly and work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including community representatives and government agencies.
- KNOWLEDGE OF AUSTRALIAN INDIGENOUS COMMUNITIES
- A genuine passion for working with Indigenous Australians and understanding the unique challenges they face.
Benefits
This is a hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home or at our local Branch or Office. A competitive salary is also on offer, with an estimated $80,000 - $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
