About the Role

Barratt Galvin is seeking a highly skilled Marketing & Business Development Manager to join our team in the Middle East region. As a key member of our MBD team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our competitive positioning and driving success in the Middle East market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Proposal Development: Lead and manage the creation of high-quality, compelling proposals that align with our strategic goals and market positioning.
  2. Bid Strategy Development: Guide Partners and associates through the bid strategy development, formulating winning propositions.
  3. Bid/No Bid Decisions: Evaluate Bid/No Bid decisions with a strong rationale and knowledge of similar decisions within the firm.
  4. Proposal Strategies: Develop and implement proposal strategies that support our go-to-market plans in the Middle East.
  5. Pitch Preparation: Oversee rehearsals for new business pitches and conduct pitch debriefs.
  6. Research and Analysis: Organize insightful research on companies, industry sectors, and countries to inform proposal development.
  7. Reporting and Analytics: Create and implement a reporting strategy that provides an overview of pitch activity.
  8. Directory and Awards Submissions: Coordinate and enhance the value of legal directories and awards submissions.
Requirements
  1. Education: A Degree or equivalent qualification.
  2. Regional Experience: Regional experience within a professional services environment.
  3. Communication Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and persuade senior legal and client personnel.
  4. Collaboration and Teamwork: A proactive, positive attitude with a collaborative working style.
  5. Marketing and Business Development Knowledge: Deep knowledge of marketing and business development processes for professional services, including new business processes, digital marketing, and CRM.
  6. Project Management Skills: Excellent communication and project management skills.
  7. International Experience: Proven experience in demanding, partner-led international environments, demonstrating the ability to multitask, manage conflicting priorities, and perform under pressure.
  8. Technical Skills: High level of literacy in IT and marketing systems, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams, and Outlook. Experience with InterAction/CRM and design software is beneficial.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work across different jurisdictions to tailor value propositions for clients.
