Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Field Fitter to work at our Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation, located near Muswellbrook.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of large scale mobile mining equipment.
  • Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, OEM and computer-based systems.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Trade Qualified Plant Mechanic Certificate III Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Equipment).
  • Preference would be Excavator, Drill or pit fitter experience.
  • Post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry.
  • Experience in general maintenance, breakdowns, component changeouts and servicing of Heavy Earthmoving equipment.
