Job Title: Industrial Mechanic Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Mechanic Specialist to join our dynamic Maintenance team. As an Industrial Mechanic Specialist, you will use your hands-on problem-solving and technical know-how to perform high-quality maintenance on plant and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Utilize mechanical skills and trade qualifications to carry out exceptional maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Lead, mentor, and share knowledge with apprentices and other team members.
  • Collaborate closely with contract teams when necessary.
  • Develop and conduct task-based risk assessments to prioritize safety.
  • Manage work orders in our Work Management System from start to finish.
  • Apply for and receive Permits to Work.
  • Analyze plant conditions, recommend improvements, and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency.
  • Aid in reviewing and improving our maintenance processes.
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Mechanical Fitter with relevant industry experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of modern power stations or other heavy industries.
  • Analytical problem-solver with precision and accuracy.
  • Team player who enjoys working with people and adapting to change.
  • Thrives in high-pressure environments and delivers results efficiently.
  • Dedicated to process and personal safety.
