Job Overview

The role of a Learning Specialist involves developing workforce capability by ensuring employees possess the necessary skills to excel in their roles.

This specialist focuses on agile learning projects, including scoping requirements, designing approaches for learning initiatives, and providing access to best practice learning experiences. They partner with stakeholders, learning leads, and designers to assess learning needs, design solutions, and manage delivery through to implementation.

Key areas of focus include compliance, clinical, leadership, digital, customer service, and soft skill development, requiring strong adult learning expertise and consulting skills.

Responsibilities
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development within complex organisations.
  • Strong stakeholder influencing skills to engage in co-solution design.
  • Ability to deliver learning projects and initiatives on time with agreed plans.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design principles, and learning technologies.
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Commercially-minded with the ability to source resourcing options.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaborative mindset with a desire to seek input from colleagues.
