Job Opportunity:

  • Develop a strategic approach to manage territory sales and expenditure budgets effectively.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular calls and visits, ensuring constructive business interactions.
  • Promote the product range using technical information, promotional material, and marketing campaigns in an honest and ethical manner.
  • Negotiate customer orders and gain commitment to products.
  • Address adverse events, enquiries, and issues promptly or ensure they are handled by appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and interactions in the Veeva CRM system.
  • Complete administrative tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Identify personal development needs and work on understanding strengths, weaknesses, and alternative methods or behaviors.
  • Represent the company as a leader in animal health through personal appearance, conduct, and ethics. Comply with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Engage with current and potential customers at conferences, trade fairs, symposiums, exhibitions, and other meetings.
  • Develop territory management plans that identify key customers, execute technical and marketing campaigns, and optimize market coverage and penetration.
  • Establish relationships with wholesalers/distributors and their representatives to maximize product referrals and promotion.
  • Plan and coordinate local activities and events that benefit customers and the business.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A degree is desirable but not essential.
  • Previous sales experience and commercial acumen are highly valued.
  • Strong relationship-building skills for both internal and external stakeholders are required.
  • The ability to negotiate, influence, and persuade customers is necessary.
  • Effective communication of technical information is essential.
  • Self-motivation and a desire to succeed are crucial.
  • Good planning and time management skills are necessary.
