About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Accountant to join our team at Visy. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a critical role in providing strategic and operational financial advice to the business, ensuring compliance and accuracy in financial and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial models to drive business growth and profitability
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to management, including monthly forecasting and variance analysis
  • Manage capital expenditure from request stage to final capitalisation, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Assist with the annual budget and Full Year Forecast processes, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of information
  • Collaborate with operational and other personnel to drive continuous improvement in results, processes, and systems
  • Monitor and manage working capital, ensuring optimal cash flow and liquidity
  • Maintain all accounting systems and procedures in accordance with corporate accounting policies and generally accepted accounting standards
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or CA/CPA
  • Proven experience in Management Accounting within a fast-paced environment, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in SAP and Consolidation & Reporting software (preferably Hyperion)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy and problem-solving
  • Permanent residency or appropriate working visa
  • Valid driver's license
