**Job Description:**

As a key member of the Bayside Group team, the successful candidate will lead our Melbourne-based operations, driving efficiency, productivity, and quality across all production functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and improve overall performance.
  • Manage labour costs, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure optimal plant operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, leveraging industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Lead and coach a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record of implementing lean manufacturing initiatives and driving process improvements.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education in Industrial, Mechanical, or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
  • Prior experience as a Plant Manager or Director of Operations.
  • Experience working in start-up or fast-paced e-commerce environments.
