About the Role:
In this exciting opportunity, you will drive service sales processes, generate profitable sales, and secure customer satisfaction within the designated areas. You will focus on Installed Base penetration, selling the entire Service product portfolio, and connecting ABB solutions with customer pain points.
The role reports to the National Marketing and Sales Manager and is contributing to the Electrification Services Business Area in Western Australia (Osborne Park). Main segments include Mining, Industry, Utilities, Food and Beverage, and Oil & Gas sectors.
You will be responsible for:
• Selling products/systems to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for assigned Business Units/Product Groups.
• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
• Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.
We are looking for candidates with a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or higher. Previous experience in sales and marketing is required, along with general knowledge of customer processes and operational requirements pertaining to medium voltage and low voltage electrical products and systems in various segments. Strong customer relations skills, including mature selling behavior and negotiation skills, are essential.
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a hybrid role requiring sufficient onsite presence as part of the development plan. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
