Key Business Specialist

The main responsibilities of this position are to provide expert application and development assistance to internal business stakeholders across various core business systems. This role involves delivering a mix of project-based and operational support services.

Daily Tasks:
  • Deliver high-level technical and business support for core business applications and projects
  • Collaborate with business units to resolve complex issues and concerns
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and document application support incidents and errors
  • Collect and document requirements for application enhancements and improvements
  • Work closely with internal and external teams to deliver on application support requests
  • Perform thorough user acceptance testing on support issues
  • Serve as the primary point of contact/help desk for systems and process queries
  • Provide technical development support to developers and business analysts in ongoing projects
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of central records
  • Act as a super-user of key business systems, possessing a deep understanding of relevant operations, procedures, and policies
  • Conduct training sessions for business users on key applications
  • Support project activities within a portfolio of active projects
About the Position:

Prior experience in an application support role is essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A strong understanding of relational databases, data flows, and data analysis.
Proven experience in application support, systems analysis.
ITIL Foundations are desirable but not mandatory.
Prior experience in applications testing is also desirable but not necessary.
Experience working with service desk applications and service management environments is required.
