Regional Talent Coordinator

Assume a key position within the Western Jets talent team and support the overall operations of an assigned regional talent program. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, managing and leading a talented player pathway program that supports the development and progression of young athletes ready for AFL and AFLW football.

  • Support operational and administrative aspects of the regional talent pathway program.
  • Coordinate weekly planning meetings of the region leadership group.
  • Manage events, functions, player permits, match day logistics, training timetables, venue bookings, equipment and related logistics.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate integration of both girls and boys programs in the region.
  • Support club academy activities within the region.
  • Oversee apparel, equipment and consumables management.
  • Contribute to web and social media platform content.
Ideal Candidate

  • A degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated initiative and a proactive attitude.
  • Knowledge of the football industry.
  • A valid Victorian driver's license and current working with children check.
