This is a unique chance to work on a groundbreaking project, the SSN AUKUS Build Program. As a System Engineering Technical Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of this essential sovereign capability for Australia.
Responsibilities- Capture, document, and maintain system requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate communication between engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and met.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with defence standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and implement improvements in requirements management processes.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation and reports on requirements status.
- Participate in compliance audits and ensure adherence to standards.
- Engage with stakeholders to resolve requirements-related issues and gather feedback.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You have a professional certification in Requirements Management or Systems Engineering.
- You possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in requirements management within the defence or a related industry.
- You have a strong understanding of systems engineering principles and requirements management processes.
- You are proficient in requirements management tools.
- You possess strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- You have experience with defense industry standards and regulatory requirements.
AU$110,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
