PhD Research Scholarship: Innovating Treatments for Diabetes

Griffith University is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our research team as PhD Research Scholars. We are offering a PhD Research Scholarship in the field of Diabetes Management and Prevention.
About the Research Opportunity
This PhD research project aims to innovate current management interventions to reduce foot ulcerations in people with diabetes. The project will combine personalized biophysical modeling, smart textile technologies, and advanced manufacturing techniques to optimize and 3D print interventions to reduce the risk of foot ulcers in people with diabetes.
About the Scholarship
The scholarship will provide a tax-free stipend, indexed annually, and will begin in February or April 2023, for 3 years. The 2022 value was $28,854 AUD. The scholarship will also cover living allowances and tuition fees for international students for 3-3.5 years.
Qualifications
To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must have been awarded a first-class Honours in a related area, such as Exercise Science, Podiatry, Biomedical Science, or Biomedical Engineering, or be on track to receive one by December 2022. Applicants must also have a strong research background and experience in conducting human research.
