Research FocusOur research project aims to address the complex and highly variable structure and function of the human foot. We will be exploring the interactions between morphology, neural control, and function, with a focus on developing new knowledge and technologies that can inform future applications in precision health and human performance.
Qualifications and RequirementsTo be considered for this PhD scholarship, applicants must have a strong academic background in a relevant field, such as biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or human movement science. Essential skills include knowledge in rigid-multibody dynamics (OpenSim) and computer programming skills (MATLAB, Python, or C++). How to ApplyApplicants must have completed, or expect to complete, a bachelor's degree with honours equivalent to first-class honours or a master's degree (AQF Level 9) incorporating a significant research component.
