About the Role

The Tasmania Government is seeking a highly skilled Registered Midwife to join our team in delivering high-quality, women-centred Maternity Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in strengthening health outcomes through the provision of safe, quality, clinically appropriate midwifery care in partnership with women, their families, and other health professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, quality, clinically appropriate midwifery care to women and their families
  • Work collaboratively with other health professionals to deliver comprehensive maternity services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with women and their families to ensure personalized care
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence in practice, fostering a learning environment that promotes growth and development
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance maternity services
Requirements
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife
  • Current Working with Children Registration
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, women-centred care
