Program Overview

The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Graduate Nurse and Midwifery Program. This program is designed to provide a comprehensive and supportive environment for new graduates to develop their skills and knowledge in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife in a variety of clinical settings
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
Eligibility Criteria
  • Be a Victorian trained Nursing/Midwifery Graduate (citizen/permanent resident)
  • Be a current Victorian resident – Distance Education Nursing/Midwifery Graduate
  • Be an Australian interstate-trained Nursing/Midwifery Graduate (citizen/permanent resident)
  • Be a New Zealand trained Nursing/Midwifery Graduate (citizen/permanent resident)
Requirements
  • Be eligible for registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Have not previously participated in a Graduate Nurse or Graduate Midwifery Program
  • Have completed your Nursing and/or Midwifery degree in the relevant academic year
