Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Drug and Alcohol Clinician/Case Worker.

The successful candidate will join our team in providing integrated post-discharge outreach and care coordination for clients exiting the Involuntary Drug and Alcohol Treatment program. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assertive outreach case management for clients using drugs and/or alcohol;
  • Referring clients to inpatient/outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, undertaking home visits, transporting clients to/from medical appointments, housing and income support, NDIS applications, referrals for community-based supports, liaison with medical teams, and case coordination.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A relevant qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, or a related field; and
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals experiencing drug and alcohol issues, including trauma, grief, loss, domestic violence, and child protection.
