Located at the Langton Centre, this role provides leadership in community treatment services, including opioid agonist treatment and ambulatory care.
This Clinical Nurse Specialist will deliver senior leadership in the coordination and delivery of community treatment services, including opioid agonist treatment and ambulatory care services.
- Assessment, treatment, support, crisis intervention, care planning and evaluation of care will be provided in line with NSW Health Clinical Care Standards: Alcohol and Other Drug Treatment.
- Clinical leadership and education, as well as participation in research and clinical services planning, are key aspects of this role.
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment, treatment, support, crisis intervention, care planning and evaluation of care is essential.
- Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse from the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is required.
- A minimum of five years' post-graduate experience and a relevant qualification in substance abuse nursing are necessary.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework are crucial.
