HSEQ Operational Excellence Specialist

Our organization is committed to delivering operational excellence and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our personnel and stakeholders. As an HSEQ Systems Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality management systems/documents.
- Create, update, and review procedures and management plans to ensure alignment with legislative, regulatory, and certification standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and enhance our Business Management System (BMS) and promote best practices and compliance.
- Develop and maintain HSEQ Policies, procedures, and process development, ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant to our operations.
- Support the implementation of risk-based approaches to mitigate risks and drive continuous improvement across our organization.
- Report on compliance findings and provide practical solutions to address any deviations from regulatory requirements.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Previous experience in the construction, mining/resources, or Defence industries;
- Qualifications in workplace Health and Safety and/or Risk Management;
- Proven experience in HSEQ systems development and compliance;
- Demonstrated facilitation, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement skills;
- A working knowledge of relevant legislative requirements and quality management principles;
- The ability to deliver effective training and drive continuous improvement.
