Job Title: HSEQ Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSEQ specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational health, safety, and environmental management, with a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes in the resources sector.

The HSEQ Specialist will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on all aspects of HSEQ, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures. They will also be involved in the development and implementation of HSEQ policies, procedures, and training programs.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in the resources sector;
  • Qualification in OHS/WHS (essential);
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment;
  • Proven problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with investigation of all HSEQ hazards/incidents;
  • Develop HSEQ documentation;
  • Facilitate and conduct pre-start briefings, risk and hazard assessments, toolbox talks and incident investigations;
  • Perform workplace inspection, in-field auditing and asset inspections;
  • Promote, develop and foster the HSEQ ethos of the organization;
  • Provide HSEQ expertise and continual improvement feedback to stakeholders.
