Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Service Operations Manager to join our team at Bosch Rexroth in Brisbane, QLD. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the activities of the Service team to maintain Customer Satisfaction and meet the organisational and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure all HSE procedures are followed, and all incidents are reported accordingly.
  • Field Service Management: Quote, Coordinate & Oversee all Field Service activities.
  • Service Sales: Drive existing strategies, visit customers, sell service products like maintenance contracts etc.
  • Turnover Management: Ensure Target for Turnover is achieved within your team.
  • Quality Assurance: Lead time, NCR, customer feedback, Quality action list, Calibration, testing and tagging, certification, tool listings, etc.
  • Employee Training: Ensure Employee Training (competence management) is up to date.
  • Supervision: Supervise employees, contractors and visitors as required from HSE and Quality perspective.
  • Travel: Able to travel as needed and support team members on site at times.
Requirements:
  • Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
  • Mechanical Trade certificate with minimum 5 years post-trade experience.
  • Able to demonstrate a high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components.
  • Previous experience in hydraulic component repair.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
  • Effective teamwork skills and attention to detail.
  • Some MS Office skills required.
