Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Drilling Operations Specialist to join our Underground Minerals Division, where you will be responsible for drilling accurately and diligently to maximize 'Bit on Bottom' while minimizing breakage and down hole loss.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply sound drilling practices and techniques within your range of competence.
  • Execute the hole plan and drill accurately to meet project requirements.
  • Carry out basic preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment and down hole equipment/BHA.
  • Plan, schedule, and organize your work within the requirements of the work plan and coordinate with other parties as needed.
  • Record and manage movement in and out of drilling consumables and spares efficiently.
  • Ensure rigs and equipment are maintained to a serviceable condition.

Requirements

  • Australian Open Car License is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in Diamond Coring.
  • Ability to obtain a First Aid/CPR certificate.
  • Demonstrated experience on LM90, LM110, or MDR700 rigs or similar.
  • Certificate III Drilling in Operations is mandatory.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
