About the role

We are seeking a skilled Drilling Operations Specialist to join our Underground Minerals Division. As a key member of our drilling crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful completion of drilling programs.

Duties

  • Apply sound drilling practices and techniques to maximise 'Bit on Bottom'.
  • Execute the hole plan and drill accurately to meet project requirements.
  • Minimise breakage and down hole loss by conducting regular equipment maintenance.
  • Plan, schedule and organise your work within the requirements of the work plan.
  • Record and manage movement in and out of drilling consumables and spares.
  • Ensure rigs and equipment are maintained to a serviceable condition.

Requirements

  • Australian Open Car License is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience in Diamond Coring.
  • Ability to obtain a First Aid/CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated experience on LM90, LM110 or MDR700 rigs or similar rigs.
  • Certificate III Drilling in Operations is mandatory.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
