Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced External Service Supervisor to join our service department in Brisbane, QLD. This role involves planning, coordinating, and overseeing the activities of the Service team to ensure Customer Satisfaction while achieving organizational and operational objectives. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Reporting directly to the Service Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhering to all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and ensuring all incidents are documented appropriately.
  • Estimating, coordinating, and supervising all Field Service operations.
  • Driving Service Sales by implementing existing strategies, engaging with customers, and promoting service products such as maintenance contracts.
  • Meeting turnover targets within the team.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met, including lead times, customer feedback, and compliance with quality action lists.
  • Maintaining up-to-date employee training and competence management.
  • Supervising employees, contractors, and visitors with respect to HSE and quality standards.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support team members on-site.

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

  • Must be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen.
  • Possess a Mechanical Trade certificate with a minimum of 5 years of post-trade experience.
  • Demonstrated high-level technical knowledge of major hydraulic components.
  • Previous experience in hydraulic component repair is essential.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Effective teamwork abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office applications is required.
