About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Safety and Wellbeing Strategist to join our team. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for implementing National Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) strategies across multiple sites. You will work closely with site leadership to ensure compliance with Self Insurance requirements, Wesfarmers Health's SH&W Management System standards, and regulatory/legislative requirements.
This role is based at our Dandenong Distribution Centre and will cover the Southern region, including VIC, SA, WA, and TAS. As a Safety and Wellbeing Strategist, you will utilise your strong governance background to influence and collaborate with multiple site Leadership. You will also promote occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and safe systems of work.
Your Responsibilities- Safety and Wellbeing Strategy - Develop and implement national safety, health & wellbeing strategies across multiple sites.
- Leadership and Governance - Collaborate with site leadership to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Risk Management - Implement risk management procedures to identify, assess, and control risks.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation - Lead incident investigations and support local leadership teams in applying Wesfarmers Health's Care Program Policy.
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role within Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, or Warehousing business.
- Experience in a multi-site regional role, supporting sites remotely and with regular travel.
- Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety and Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
- Sound technical knowledge of OH&S legislation and standards.
