About the role:
We are seeking a Safety and Wellbeing Business Development Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Safety Health & Wellbeing Manager - Supply Chain. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing National Safety, Health & Wellbeing (SH&W) strategies across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with Self Insurance requirements, regulatory standards, and legislative requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on workplace safety and wellbeing across our Southern region, covering VIC, SA, WA, and TAS from our Dandenong Distribution Centre.
Key responsibilities:
- Safety and Wellbeing Strategy Implementation – Develop and implement comprehensive SH&W strategies to minimize risks and promote a safe working environment across multiple sites.
- Risk Management – Identify, assess, and control risks associated with workplace change, ensuring they are managed to an acceptable standard.
- Incident Reporting and Investigation – Support local leadership teams in completing timely and high-quality incident investigations, promoting accountability and corrective action completions.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication – Collaborate with site leaders and team members to promote SH&W awareness and drive engagement through effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Training and Development – Develop and deliver training programs to support on-site SH&W processes and ensure risk management practices are embedded at a local level.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of experience in a similar role within Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution, or Warehousing business.
- Proven track record of implementing effective SH&W strategies and improving workplace safety outcomes.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in OH&S legislation and standards.
- Excellent stakeholder management, consultation, and coaching skills.
- Self-motivated leader with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with site leaders.
- Diploma in Workplace Health and Safety and Certificate IV Training and Assessment.
