About the Role

We seek to appoint an experienced and skilled Senior Workplace Relations Advisor to provide specialist Employee Relations and Workplace Relations advice, expertise and support to our operational business and People & Culture teams.

The role plays a key part in enterprise agreement negotiations and supports our compliance and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting, analysing, understanding and comparing industrial instruments.
  • Participating in the negotiation process including research, response recommendations, coordination of steering committees and preparation of communication plans.
  • Developing change management and risk mitigation plans and uplifting workplace relations capability within the business.
  • Fostering relationships with stakeholders including HR, relevant managers and union representatives.
  • Supporting investigations, disciplinary matters and disputes.

To be successful in this role, you will have working knowledge of employment-related matters and be able to provide advice and influence outcomes.

You will also be able to prepare and support the negotiation of enterprise agreements, work with unions on dispute resolution through informal and formal mechanisms and conduct training in WR related subjects.
