Job Description:
We are working with a leading financial services and health organisation to find a Senior Workplace Relations expert. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex employee relations cases, including grievances, workplace investigations, and performance issues.
You will provide expert advice on workplace relations matters and ensure compliance with relevant legislation. Key responsibilities include:
- Guiding and supporting managers in addressing complex employee relations issues.
- Representing the organisation in the Fair Work Commission for matters such as unfair dismissal and general protections applications.
- Advising on the interpretation and compliance of employment legislation, industrial instruments, and company policies.
- Conducting thorough workplace investigations and providing accurate reports.
- Engaging effectively with union and legal representatives.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Employee Relations, or Human Resources.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in workplace relations, ideally in a large organisation.
- Knowledge of employment law and workplace investigations.
- Proactive and professional with strong business acumen.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to support a complex organisation.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing teams or leading workplace initiatives.
