Aboriginal Health Practitioner Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aboriginal Health Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary unit, you will be responsible for providing culturally safe and autonomous Primary Health Care services to Aboriginal clients.

About the Role
  • Provide comprehensive Indigenous Primary Health Care Practice within a holistic concept.
  • Identify and assess meaningful aspects or principles of care.
  • Culturally responsive service delivery in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

You will work closely with community members to strengthen community involvement in health service delivery and provide health education and promotion programs in a community setting.

Requirements
  • Registered with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice Board of Australia.
  • Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practice.
  • Demonstrated local cultural knowledge and ability to exercise cultural respect and safety.
