Comprehensive primary health care for the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander community is a top priority at our service. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team of skilled healthcare workers in Darwin.

About The Role
  • This is a casual position requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver culturally sensitive primary health care to patients, using standard treatment guidelines.
  • Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Aboriginal culture and history, as well as issues impacting the Indigenous community.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Nursing degree or Certificate IV in Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care (Practice).
  • Current registration as an AHP/RN with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing primary health care, ideally within a similar setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
