Primary Health Care Professional - West Arnhem Region
">This role is a key position in our multidisciplinary remote primary health care team. We seek a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to join us in the vibrant Aboriginal community of Gunbalanya, located in Arnhem Land.
">The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services to over 1,000 people in the West Arnhem region. The role involves managing client care across the lifespan, treating illness, promoting wellbeing, providing education and training, and supporting community health action to improve outcomes.
">We are looking for someone with specialist General Practitioner registration, experience in rural/remote settings, ideally in Indigenous health, and a strong understanding of cultural issues impacting remote Indigenous communities. Accreditation or experience as a GP supervisor is an advantage.

- Treat illness, promote wellbeing, provide education and training, and support community health action
- Integrate Indigenous cultural imperatives in the delivery of healthcare
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to improve health outcomes
Requirements
">- Holds specialist General Practitioner registration with AHPRA
- Fellow of RACGP or ACRRM
- Australian citizen or permanent resident
- Broad-based primary care experience in rural/remote settings
- Culturally aware with knowledge of issues impacting remote Indigenous communities
- Accreditation or experience as a GP supervisor (advantageous)
