Job Overview

The Clinical Workforce Lead role plays a pivotal part in the Virtual Health ecosystem, ensuring seamless workforce performance and high-quality patient care. This position provides strategic direction to the clinical leadership teams, promoting evidence-based guidelines and protocols to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff selection, management, development, and appraisal of clinical leads and senior clinical leads.
  • Participation in policy formulation and implementation.
  • Leadership team member contributing to nursing and virtual health strategy for high-quality nursing care.
  • Consultation and liaison with stakeholders to facilitate quality nursing care and occupational health and safety.
  • Maintenance of nursing care standards for a specific group or population within Virtual Health.
  • Leadership and role modelling in action research and quality assurance programs.
  • Staff allocation and rostering, including Senior Clinical Lead and Clinical Lead work schedules.
  • Occupational health incident reporting and management according to the HSE framework.
  • Action research project management and participation in quality assurance programs and policy development within Virtual Health.
  • Delivering direct and comprehensive nursing care and individual case management as appropriate.
  • On-call responsibilities rotation between Virtual Health Clinical Manager and leads.
  • Promoting ethical behaviour and alignment with Aspen Medical's Social Purpose and B Corp principles.
Requirements:
  • Registered nurse with minimum 3 years' experience and unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Virtual Health Services.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging stakeholders effectively.
  • Commitment to upholding high standards of patient care quality and compliance.
  • Client-focused, responsive, flexible, and committed to delivering quality services.
  • Interest in leadership roles with understanding of team management principles.
