Job Opportunity

Talison Lithium is seeking an experienced remuneration and benefits specialist to join our team.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the design, implementation, and administration of our remuneration and benefits framework and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the design, implementation and administration of our remuneration and benefits framework;
  • Provide accurate, timely, and practical advice on all aspects of remuneration and benefits;
  • Conduct market benchmarking, job evaluations, and internal equity assessments to ensure pay structures remain competitive, fair, and aligned with our strategies and framework;
  • Administer incentive schemes by preparing, analysing, and validating data for performance-related pay calculations;
  • Support the delivery of the annual remuneration review process;
  • Research, analyse, and deliver evidence-based recommendations on remuneration and benefits programs;
  • Identify and lead opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and systems;
  • Monitor and interpret legislative, regulatory, and compliance changes related to pay and benefits;
  • Support functional projects including Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) submissions, gender pay equity reviews, and other human resources related initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification in Human Resource Management or a related business discipline;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in remuneration, rewards or compensation-focused HR roles;
  • Solid understanding of remuneration frameworks, policies, management of incentive plans, job evaluation, and market analysis;
  • Demonstrated experience working with HR/Payroll systems;
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills;
  • Experience interpreting company policies and guidelines, and industrial instruments such as modern awards and enterprise agreements;
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail with high accuracy in processing data and reporting;
  • An improvement-driven mindset focused on streamlining processes to maximise efficiency;
  • High degree of confidentiality;
  • High level of self-motivation;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
