SASE APJ Sales Director Job Description

At Hewlett Packard Enterprise, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven SASE APJ Sales Director to lead our overlay sales organization focused on SASE solutions, including SD-WAN and SSE.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the APJ network and security market, including SD-WAN and SSE trends and competitors. They will be responsible for setting the direction and managing the deliverables of the assigned sales team, achieving revenue and expense objectives, and driving pipeline generation and revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the APJ overlay sales organization focused on SASE solutions, including SD-WAN and SSE.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the APJ market to drive pipeline generation and revenue growth.
  • Build strong relationships with internal sales teams, partners, and the channel community.
  • Own and manage sales forecasting for the APJ SASE business, collaborating closely with country sales managers.
  • Foster career growth and professional development within the APJ SASE organization through performance reviews and reward planning activities.
  • Position secure connectivity and cybersecurity solutions to customers, showcasing Unified SASE capabilities.
  • Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape for SD-WAN and SSE in the APJ region.
  • Drive awareness and credibility for the organization as a leading SASE vendor.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • University or Bachelor's degree; advanced university or Master's degree preferred.
  • 5-10 years of sales and progressive management experience.
  • 10-15 years of industry experience.
  • Demonstrated results in growing a business or expanding a market.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages relevant to the APJ region are highly regarded.
  • Travel within the APJ region for onsite participation at customer/partner engagements and security-focused events (up to 25% - 50%).
Salary Range:

$150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
