Improve Network Security and Drive Excellence

We're seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Network Architect to join our Global Technology Services business unit. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting network security solutions that drive excellence and quality across multiple portfolios.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have active responsibility for working on the design, implementation, and network engineering of standardized IT services to promote business value. They will also be accountable for supporting and maintaining the utility of provided services and meeting ongoing technology requirements for business, projects, and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Implement Network Security Solutions: Utilize advanced knowledge of network security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and encryption methods, to design and implement secure network architectures.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with development teams, operations teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of network security solutions into existing systems and processes.
  • Monitor and Improve Network Performance: Continuously monitor network performance and identify areas for improvement, utilizing data analytics and other tools to optimize network security and overall system efficiency.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Participate in industry conferences, workshops, and training sessions to stay current with emerging trends and technologies in network security.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Cybersecurity Expertise: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and encryption methods.
  • Advanced Networking Knowledge: In-depth understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Cloud Computing Experience: Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and services, including AWS or Azure.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
