About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Employment Professional to support and guide clients in attaining suitable employment opportunities. They will build rapport with clients, assist them on their employment journey, and help them overcome barriers to employment.

  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to manage the referral & intake process of job seekers into their chosen program.
  • Assess job seeker skills, abilities, and identify barriers and intervention strategies.
  • In consultation with job seekers, develop work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions, and employment support activities.
  • Reverse market job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.
  • Provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience.
Skill Requirements

The ideal candidate is self-driven, resilient, and experienced in Customer Service. They have strong communication skills and attention to detail, and can use computer systems with excellent data accuracy & note-taking.

  • Build rapport and maintain relationships with clients, peers, and job seekers.
  • Hold a current NDIS Worker Screening check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Have experience within the Employment Services sector or be able to adapt to our network.
