Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an HSE Advisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the management and implementation of our Australian Health, Safety and Environmental Management System.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures
  • Provide support to the National HSE Manager and drive world-class HSE outcomes across our projects, warehouses and offices
  • Support local (Perth) and domestic Project HSE roles - some short-term travel required
  • Have a forward-thinking approach to HSE in execution with a willingness to drive improvement initiatives
  • Support pre-contract HSE reviews and submissions for Australian opportunities
  • Review, onboard, and monitor subcontractors across our sites
  • Assist in preparing Management Plans, Risk Assessments, and overall Project HSE Management Systems
  • Complete incident investigations and ensure they are entered into our Incident Management System
  • Provide technical input and coaching for Project team members during task-specific risk assessments
  • Onboard employees and subcontractors through delivery of location-specific induction content
  • Develop and deliver HSE training and awareness programs and provide in-field coaching
  • Manage the HSE Hazard and Corrective Action Tracking Register
  • Conduct training GAP analysis of employee training attainment and positional needs
  • Lead the ongoing implementation and monitoring of our Psychosocial Management Framework and programs
  • Support Injury Management and Return to Work process for employees as required
Requirements:
  • 10+ years within construction, manufacturing, oil, and gas sectors with experience in greenfield and brownfield environments
  • Minimum Diploma OHS
  • Certificate IV Training and Assessment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant statutory regulations
  • Training in HSE practices including Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control
  • Experience in completing incident investigation and reporting
