Key Project Engineering Position

The company is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead the design, planning, and execution of a new food manufacturing facility in Sydney.

  • Oversee the end-to-end design and setup of the new facility, including layout design, equipment sourcing and selection, and commissioning.
  • Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource needs in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Monitor and manage project milestones, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
  • Develop plant layouts, material flow diagrams, and production line configurations optimized for efficiency, safety, and scalability.
  • Specify and select food processing, packaging, and utility equipment to meet production requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Oversight site preparation, utility hookups, and equipment installation.
  • Lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and commissioning protocols.
Requirements:
  • A highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer/Manager with expertise gained from within the food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to commit to an initial 12-month project and evidence having managed similar projects in the past.
