Maintenance Operations Manager Role

Lead maintenance operations to optimise efficiency and productivity in our Australian food manufacturing facility. As a Maintenance Operations Manager, you will oversee the maintenance department to deliver results through efficient machinery performance, technology utilisation, and process engineering improvements.

  • Oversight of maintenance operations to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
  • Management of repairs, capital expenditure projects, and resource allocation
  • Development and mentorship of a team of electricians and maintenance fitters
  • Leadership of engineering activities including commissioning of new equipment
  • Driving process improvements to enhance operational efficiency
  • Implementation and optimisation of systems, policies, and procedures
  • Ensuring workplace health and safety compliance and promoting a culture of safety

You Will Bring:

  • Trade qualifications in electrical, maintenance, or related fields
  • Process engineering expertise
  • Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and regulations
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Proven experience managing large-scale projects
  • Understanding of legislative requirements (including OHS & Environment)
