As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee the execution of a new food manufacturing facility project in Sydney's West.

Job Overview:
  • Lead the end-to-end design and setup of a new facility (including layout design, equipment sourcing, and commissioning)

This role is critical to delivering the project on time, within budget, and in compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership & Management: Manage the entire project lifecycle from concept development to plant commissioning
  • Facility Design: Develop optimized plant layouts, material flow diagrams, and production line configurations for efficiency, safety, and scalability
  • Installation & Commissioning: Oversee site preparation, utility hookups, equipment installation, and lead FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), SAT (Site Acceptance Testing), and commissioning protocols
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary technical contact for internal stakeholders and external partners, managing RFPs, vendor selection, contract negotiations, and procurement for engineering and construction services
Requirements:
  • Highly intelligent and creative Project Engineer/Manager with experience gained from within food, beverage, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Ability to commit to an initial 12-month project and evidence having managed site start-ups within the space
