As a Clinical Funding Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate classification of resident care needs and time spent across our Residential Aged Care Homes.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide site-specific funding support to our homes, working closely with carers and clinical staff to optimize staffing based on residents' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaising with care teams to ensure accurate documentation of resident care needs and time spent, supporting funding classifications.
  • Providing expert guidance and resources to staff, raising concerns with the Clinical Manager as needed.
  • Delivering training sessions to upskill staff in funding processes and share knowledge of systems.
  • Offering ongoing education through toolbox sessions and incorporating these into new employee induction programs.
  • Participating in monitoring resident conditions, clinical meetings, and feedback sessions to identify reclassification opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a care or clinical role within Residential Aged Care.
  • Knowledge of AN-ACC tools, funding guides, and processes.
  • Ability to quickly learn software systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Capacity to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
